Baptism & Confirmation
Through the sacrament of Holy Baptism, we experience purification and renewal as we are accepted into God's family. In the Maronite Rite, Baptism and Chrismation (Confirmation) are done together.

Baptismal Guidelines & Regulations
Parish Baptisms are offered for children ages Newborns to 5-year-olds. If the child (or children) has reached 6 years of age, they must complete the sacrament of Baptism through the Parish Religious Ed. Program.
For adults looking to complete the sacrament of baptism, they have to complete 'R.C.I.A' Program.
When coming in for your appointment, please remember to bring all the required documents.
The required documentation includes:
- Birth Certificate of Child (or children).
- Godparent(s) Certificates of baptism and confirmation.
- Godparents who do not belong to the parish, they have to provide a sponsorship eligibility letter from the parish that they belong to.
Sponsors (Godparents) must meet the following requirements: (CIC 872, 873, 874; CCEO 684, 685)

Must have completed their 16th year.

Be a Catholic having received the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.

Are practicing Catholics

If married, are married in conformity to the laws of the Catholic Church.

Two godparents, one male, one female.

A baptized person who IS NON-CATHOLIC may be a WITNESS ONLY to Baptism along with a Catholic sponsor in a special situation. However, it is strongly recommended to have Two Catholic Sponsors.
